In the spirit of OMG, a ubiquitous form of expression in our daily conversations that can connote positive or negative feelings, the group believes in seeking the fun in adversity, opportunities in the mundane. The studio delves into aspects of spatial design, encompassing Architecture, Interior, Exhibition, Installation – essentially the dimension that surrounds human experience. We believe in understanding the essential needs and creating modest liveable spaces that are personal yet at the same time experimental.
Hui Lian presently heads the OMG Atelier studio in Singapore as a registered Architecture firm. She’s the Only Malaysian Girl in the firm and has recently been awarded the inaugural Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) Young Architects Award 2024 (Honourable Mention).
